Kicking off 27weeks with a ... Splash?!

We had one of the busiest weekends I can remember for awhile...

Friday I got stuck at work until 6pm (why is it always Fridays that are the craziest day of the week for me at work?!) and ended up running like a mad-woman once home to get a dinner cooked because a friend was coming over to view engagement pictures I shot a few weeks a loooong time ago, earlier this summer...

She ended up staying until a little after nine (note to self: just because you, as an "artist," think a style or font/color for a SaveTheDate looks horrible, remember: The Customer has her own taste, and it's always right! lol YUCK!)

When we came upstairs (from our basement office) Button was still awake and crying in his room (he's usually asleep by 8:20 or so!) And E shared his night: that doggie #1 had gotten on the table (during a potty trip with Button) and eaten the rest of dinner (homemade chicken fingers) and then proceeded to vomit it all over the living room carpet (all while E kept trying to get Button down for the night...)

A little mommy-magic, and Button was asleep...

Saturday morning we decided to visit a local petting zoo/market/Greenhouse and Button got so excited to see the animals!

They had goats, a baby cow, lambs - all to hand-feed! - pony rides, bunnies!! (Bunnies seem to be magical for Button - he just loves them!)

Before we left, we visited their market (freshly grown produce and meats!) for some snacks (yogurt raisins) and lunch (chicken pot pies and fresh quiche!) as well as a cute Halloween lawn ornament (Button picked out a giant bat).  And as we were checking out, a woman walked past us, looked back at me and smiled and said, "It's a girl!" and then turned back around and walked off...

I was like, "uh - wha - um... huh?!"

After Button's nap, we drove an hour south to our friends' house for an End-of-Summer Tiki BBQ (great idea, fun decorations - but we were all in long sleeves and pants! brrrr!)
(clockwise - having fun with his cousin, me having fun with new baby cousin and baby cousin's mommy, the boys enjoying a bonfire (not visible due to flash), and me practicing the whole 2nd child thing - I've got this!)

((Also at this BBQ was Mr and Mrs Potato Head, our good friends - who, during the Ex-BIL drama beginning, had shared with me she was afraid she'd be the reason they couldn't get pregnant, due to a long history of issues.  The updates were that, as of August, they would be doing IUI because Mr. PH had tested on the lower side for a SA (motility? count? not sure the specifics).  And then as of Labor Day, it was actually going to be IVF, on advice of their RE/Dr (not sure if they're officially at an RE, I would assume so...) but as of this past weekend - the latest was that on one of the first cycle ultrasounds, they found a polyp that needs removal and so surgery is set for late October, and after that it's - repeat the cycle start, another ultrasound, and hope there's no more polyps.  I can't even imagine the frustration at all the time spent waiting... I love the PotatoHeads and hope things this fall/winter ultimately end up with a healthy pregnancy!))

But anyways - I tell you that fresh air WORE BUTTON OUT, because this kid - who hasn't fallen asleep in the car for MONTHS no matter what time it is, was ZONKED OUT within the first 5 miles of the hour carride home... In fact, he never even opened his eyes through the arrival home, the journey into the house and up the stairs, and through an entire outfit and diaper change...

Sunday morning we woke up late (past 8:30!) and so I let church slide (we would have had to haul ass to get there on time...) Instead - we spent the morning at a nearby lake/preserve on their lakeside trails.  Button loved it ("I see WATEH!" and "no that tree no bite you...") and again the fresh air helped (or he just digs his routines!) because naptime was (is!) such a breeze...

After nap, we headed out to Palisades Mall in New York (a little bit of a drive at 45 minutes) but - but but - it has THIS:

And it has a ferris wheel! and a carousel! (Button rode it twice!!)

And a Dave'N'Busters:

At this point, I was aching (yay RLP) from walking/standing all weekend long... We made it home in time for dinner and a bath (grandma gave it while I helped SIL (still in highschool) with her math homework).

MIL and SILs headed home, we got Button to bed, and we caught Fear the Walking Dead (only one episode left!!!)

Sunday night as usual, all the way up to the 10pm bedtime and reading myself to sleep...

Except, about 10-15 minutes after falling asleep, I woke up totally uncomfortable, thought it was just Baby Girl on my stomach or intestines... minute by minute it got worse, E was up (playing SimCity on his phone lol) and was all, "ummm are you ok? should you be by the toilet?!")

By the toilet I went, because then I felt something like gas pains and thought a good fart (ha -- the glories of pregnancy) would help... but then!

Vomiting!!

PROJECTILE!

And I crawled back from the toilet bowl, on all fours, seized by a stomach cramp, thinking, wait is that a stomach cramp? or a LABOR CRAMP?! OMG DO I NEED TO GO TO L&D?!
I'M ONLY 27 WEEKS TODAY!! BUT I'VE READ OF BABIES COMING THIS EARLY, THERE'S NO WAY THIS COULD BE HAPPENING RIGHT NOW!

(I also thought, god-DAMMIT if this is like full on labor/full contraction/whatever, this SUCKS SO BAD!!!)

AND THEN!

(as E is standing with me in the bathroom, providing a wet cool cloth alternating with a bottle of water) I was all, "um - I think I have to go to the bathroom..."

so out he went, and OUT IT CAME...

and now I'm trying to think about Button, and if I call the doctor they'll most likely advise me to go to L&D and who would we get to come stay at the house while he slept, and E has work the next morning so unless I really think something's wrong, calling and going in would be a big fat night of no sleep and nothing wrong...

I tried to lay down once more, and got wracked with more intestinal - "activity" let's say... and after that?

Everything totally quieted down... I read for a bit waiting to see if it was really gone, and then finally went to bed...

and I have been fine ever since....

food poising?! Baby Girl playing BounceHouse on my stomach and intestines?!

I'm trying to drink more water than usual to rehydrate, and I lost two pounds (which means I got a day of pigging out!!)  but other than that, no worse for the wear...

but holy - "I'm not ready for her yet!" wake up call!

I'm now hammering out finite return-to-work schedules and day-care start-dates for Baby Girl... Shit's getting real!

(oh yea! the 27weeks part! A separate post...)
for now, a cute comparison of last year's (early Spring 2014) Neighborhood Watch and this year's New and Improved Fall 2015 version:

Friday Flush-Out turned Monday Mash-Up

Ok so this started as a Friday Flush-Out and then Friday got MAD CRAZY at work (lunch cut short after 10 minutes for training, training got cut short for an interview with possible maternity-leave-coverage-person, and then frantic-ness ensued as our main bank f*cked up transferring funds to our payroll bank... resulting in employees not being able to cash pay checks... MAD CRAZY!)

And then, I thought I'd be able to post a Saturday morning brain-slosh before we headed down the shore with Button and FIL (for E and FIL to do some repair-work in the backyard) and then all of a sudden we were already there (after a painful carride of Button repeating phrases over and over and over and over an ov- sorry...) and on the beach, and I thought I'd be able to post Sunday night when we got home...

And then it was Sunday night, and we had spent an unexpected hour or two at IL's house where DH wanted to take advantage of babysitters (his sisters) and nap after we dropped off FIL, and then finally settled in at home after Button's bedtime to watch Fear the Walking Dead (good episode, not much action, as they were building plot lines - can't wait for next week's!)

So, here it is - a Monday Morning Mess:

Item: For some reason, I bookmarked the f.acebook page of the tramp homewrecker girl that ex-BIL is with now (did I mention they're having a baby together?! SIL had heard a few weeks back...) It's a private page, so it's just profile pic, friends list, some public posts (not many) so I don't know why I bookmarked it - but last Friday, all of a sudden I opened it and her profile pic is one of her and ex-BIL, in Venice, Italy... It almost feels like the time he was in our lives was a dream, the surreal part, that he is/was a character that doesn't exist any more...

Item: Last week, I found the perfect solution to a FirstWorldProblem - you know when there's that awkward level of cereal left in box, where it's too big for the bowl you want, but then you're leaving a piddly pitiful amount for the next bowl? And it's either - you eat a bigger bowl of cereal then you intended, or you leave the sad excuse of cereal left and plan to later mix it with something else maybe?
Well it makes the perfect Button-size bowls of cereal! (DH started Button on bowls of cereal - his favorite late-night snack before bed - as soon as Button started drinking cows' milk... lol)

Item: You guys remember some sad accountability list I'd created, like, years ago? And then tried to revisit it a few months later and was all, gonna accomplish things! (mostly something about dental work needing to be done?)
Well... I finally got into my dentist (a midst dental insurance changes - my old guy doesn't take our new dental HMO! BOOO!) who took a look at the back molar that was a probable root canal 18 months ago, and promptly advised me - given the private pay stance I would be having with his practice - to pull the tooth! I was like, WHAAA?!
And then I asked him - "ok, if you had all the insurance money to play with (if he was in-network) what would you[he] advise?" and he said he'd want to perform "heroic dentistry" and save the tooth: tooth exploration/cleaning, gum surgery (because the gums started to grow in where a piece of the tooth had chipped out), post, crown, etc.
So... at 30 years old, I'd rather not have a molar pulled - not even a wisdom tooth, just a regular molar...
And the GoodNews/BadNews part of it all is that E has already found/been to a great root-canal-specialist who participates with our dental HMO.
But needs a referral.
From a dentist in-network, so now I have an appointment tomorrow at lunch which will most likely go as follows:
K: Hi dentist, here's pictures and x-rays from last week that my dentist took, you can't take any more because I'm pregnant - here's the tooth.
dentist: Yup - root canal's needed, I'm gonna refer you to -
K: can you use Dr. Chompers? my husband has already used him for root canals...
dentist: Sure - here's your referral.
     K: ok thanks, bye.
*SIGH*
The big thing I'm somewhat-worried about is timing... 2nd tri ends like, any day now and I want to get as much of this done as possible, as soon as possible...

Item: While on the beach this weekend, I realized that next summer will be the Summer of Tattoos! I have three lined up and (kind of) ready - I have script on my foot that was too small to begin with, and has become totally illegible... So for #1, I want to get the script, "La vie est belle," done on my other foot, but much bigger... and then (#2) get the original tattoo covered up with something feathery (my tat-guy says the very best cover-ups are roses (nope), fish scales (nope) or feathers...) and then #3 - a BabyGirl tattoo (because Button's already got a great one!) - I'm thinking a little thumb-print heart with her birth date, etc on my right rib/bra line... (and considering her thumbprint will be teeny, and we know small tattoos become blurry, like my foot script - maybe it'll be a combo of my print + hers.. or something... I'll let my guy design something cool... lol)
(like this, with script next to it...)

Item: I've been really enjoying the wiggles and pops and shifts and kicks from Baby Girl (still unnamed - ACK!) especially this morning, as I sit at my desk trying to fix the horrible money/wiretransfer/paycheck issue from Friday (our main bank CANCELLED THE WIRE without telling us!!!!)
And I'm trying to enjoy them and not get annoyed at her tenth bout of hiccups that day, because people ask, "You're going to have a boy and a girl! A perfect little family! Do you think you'll have anymore??" (First - a "perfect little family" is only when there's a child of each sex??"  Second - what's their obsession with the next kid(s) when you haven't even finished gestating the current one?!)
But thing is - I don't know the answer to their question about more kids... we laugh and say, "if she's as good as Button, we're open to a third! And if she's a little hellion, we'll be done!"  But really, you never know what might happen - for whatever reason, this could be my last pregnancy...

Because I don't want it over and then a year from now, we decide, yes we are done with these two - and I look back and think, "Why didn't I appreciate and enjoy it at the time?! I wish I'd know it was going to be the last time!!!"

So I'm trying to relish and enjoy it and think, "this could be the last time you feel this..."

so sad! because, when Button's pregnancy was over, I missed the kicks - I even felt phantom ones (most likely/definitely gas traveling around lol) in the hospital and at home for days... and the farther I got from when I last felt them, I remember beginning to wonder - can I remember what it felt like?!

So there's my Monday mash-up...

(We had a great weekend:) E and his dad got a lot done in the backyard,  Button had SO much fun on the beach with his aunts/cousins

Mommy got a decent tan a little sun, and we wrapped up on Sunday with some arcade time before driving home

(the drive home was much better than the drive down - Button napped peacefully and I got to read on my Nook - surprisingly, since I usually get car-sick just from looking down at my phone for too long!)

a Tale of Two Weekends...

Since I never shared how fun our play dates were two weeks ago, you're getting a TWO-FER!

Last weekend, E was supposed to go on his annual canoe trip (long story short, another guy cancelled which left them with an odd-man out, and E jumped at the chance to back out of a trip he hadn't really wanted to go on to begin with...)
(He still decided to disappear on Sunday to go fishing with his dad...)

But, so - Saturday morning I took Button to some stores (still trying to find the right one to return some duplicate birthday gifts from July) so we got to see BuyBuyBaby (where I just had to get BabyGirl the cutest two little tutu's from the clearance rack...)
(I've already mentally paired the first with B&W striped leggings this spring... ZOMG)

We then hit up Target (where Momma treated herself to some $3 bootcuffs... yes I could have made them, but the yarn would have cost just as much.  And these are hassle-free, pre-made and perfect. lol)

After Button's nap (and after E was done with all his Saturday morning yardwork) we hit up a local school's playground (holy HOT it was so warm...)

and then shortly called it quits to go cool off and grab some ice cream...

The next day (while E was off fishing with his Dad) we had a planned breakfast with our friend O at a nearby diner, where Button popped a container of syrup all over himself and my shoes, made friends with the waiter who later brought him a free gigantic cookie, and dumped his entire kiddie cup (one with a lid!) of apple juice all over himself...

After a recuperating nap (both for Button and mommy!) we trucked over to my bestie Dee's house to play with her 13-month-old and his fun toys!

We stayed there til nearly dinner time (as Daddy kept texting me he'd be back later and later...) so when we finally got home and settled, Button got stay up an extra 20 minutes to wait for Daddy to get home to see him for a bit before heading to bed... busy weekend!

And this past weekend, whoa nellie!!

Friday as I finished up at work, I got the strange desire to do something fun... and texted E with a "let's do something fun! Let's picnic tonight on the new back patio!"

(Thursday night we finally used an Olive Garden gift card - I'm pretty sure we got for our anniversary, in October last year - for a date night dinner... and took advantage of their great "Buy an Entree, Take an Entree" or something like that... for $13-$16 you got an entree to eat there  (with unlimited breadsticks and soup) as well as an entree to take home for another day!)

SO - Friday night, picnic we did!

The boys were stuffed from ziti!

Saturday morning, while E entertained Button, I cleaned (the kitchen - sinks and counters scrubbed! -  and living room)
As we were sitting on the front stoop, catching some fresh air, our across-the-street-neighbor invited us to come for a quick swim with her and her grandson (same age as Button!)
(While E had to stay at the house and wait for a Verizon technician (no internet, booooo) Button and I jumped at the chance to cool off a bit!)
After the pool, the boys took turns hitching rides:

When we got back to our house, the Verizon guy still had not shown up  (and his 8a-12p window had expired!  UGH)
So Button ate lunch, and went down for a nap.
When he woke up, we had gotten an update that the Verizon guy would be there around 4:30 which freed us up for about 2 hours, so we decided to go check out a local "pond"/pool that our neighbor had told us was "so great!" (not so great. it's a big marshy pond not fit for swimming)
BUT we had a great time on our little "nature walk" around the pond, and it chewed up the perfect amount of time until the Verizon guy was due!
(While the Verizon guy was working on the router, Button and I kept occupied by a few games of hide'n'seek...)

With internet back up and running, we headed out around 5pm for a local fire department's carnival fundraiser! (No pictures, boooo....)
But we enjoyed good food-truck dinner (pulled pork sandwiches! chicken empanadas! ice cream, of course!) as well as a gi-nooormous bounce house and a super slide (on Daddy's lap) - unfortunately, Button was still too little for the motorcycle ride they had set up...
kind of like this, but on a track...

And then E told me on the carride home later that he had eventually told Button the "real reason" he couldn't ride the motorcycles (the "Fake" reasons being, you know - "line's too long!" or "the big slide is SO MUCH MORE FUN!") and poor Button actually kind of snapped his eyes up to E's face in a really? I'm too little? sad face of understanding... #bigboysoonenough!
(Also - on our way to the fundraiser, we passed the coolest chair out on the curb! (really nice rich neighborhood) so a full once-over with Resolve and a rag, we totally snagged this for FREE!) From Target, we found out - though I was convinced it was originally a PotteryBarnKids - so nice, dark blue corduroy!
Button showing off his new chair Sunday morning...

Sunday morning I, again, got to cleaning (our bedroom - HOLY DUST! - and the master bath - YUCKY sinks!) and laundry (I have the most energy first thing after breakfast, so thank you to E for keeping little man occupied and happy - such a hardship, sitting and watching cartoons with him while I clean... lol)
After Button's nap, we headed back to the neighbor's pool - they were out for the day at BBQs and had offered its use!
Once the shade overtook the pool and backyard, we headed back home (a long 20 second walk... lol) and once showered, decided to go to our favorite sushi/hibachi joint for an early dinner.  (Button loves edamame. and green tea ice cream...)
After dinner, we walked next door and did some food shopping for a last-minute BBQ we had thrown together for Monday with our friends.  (Always food shop AFTER dinner - never before.  You buy everything from  healthy fruits to junky muffins and cookies...)

Monday morning, while E mowed the lawn and string-trimmed, I planned on taking Button to Burlington Coat Factory (to return a wallet from E's birthday in July).  First, of course - we spent some of the morning in our undies playing on our new chair...

Of course, there was a KMart in the same parking lot as Burlington (in fact, "earlier" in the lot) so we went there first - with the intentions of getting undies (for Button and Mommy lol) and checking out their stock of yard furniture - hoping for good end-of-summer and LaborDay sales!

Well - we got mommy undies and Button some socks, and then headed back to the Garden area where I found these great chairs for $90!
(it was for only the chairs, so now we'll be on a hunt for a matching high-top table!)
((We already have a really nice 5-person round set that looks gorgeous on our new patio... once the fence is installed - next few days! - and the grass seeded, I'll take some finished pictures!))

So with the assistance of a very helpful sales guy, we got this ginormous box loaded into my trunk (go Kia Sorrento!) and got the trunk, which wouldn't close by just a few inches, tied down.

And I decided I wasn't going to stop at Burlington with a car that couldn't be locked, and so the return of the wallet will have to wait even longer...

But the patio chairs!

Perfect for our BBQ later that day!
(Button's naptime was perfect for E and I to run around and finish setting things up -  pool and water table for the two boys, food tables, new chairs, etc)
I blog-failed and didn't get any pictures until dessert time, and even then only got shots of Button eating his elmo cupcake (HOLY ICING... and thanks for bringing them for the boys, Dee!)

And of course, the "TAKE OUR PICTURE BABE!" big boys...
(no. they're not really peeing off of our new wall... just comparing.. LOL!)

Thankfully our friends are all pretty awesome (especially the last couple here last night!) and they helped us clean up and get the food inside (and took some leftover food as well!)

This momma was still pretty zonked after the long day long weekend, and was beyond ready to put her feet up and celebrate having passed Viability Day on Sunday at 24weeks!
(Also - it's fun celebrating V-Day with a bona fide Y.I. - albeit still unconfirmed via culture as the Doc never called me on Friday like they were supposed to with results, and of course the work day flew by and next thing I knew it was past 5 and they were closed.  For a long holiday weekend...
With very weak and sometimes non-existant symptoms, I managed throughout the weekend - but you can bet I'm on the phone with them as soon as I can get away from my desk today, and will be picking up some OTC treatment on the way home from work!)

How was your Labor Day 2015??

sluggish and crabby.. (also 17w1d)

and it's my own damn fault... I stayed up late (finally watching some old stuff from my DVR list... so many movies/show... so little time!!) working on a crochet baby sweater I started a month or so ago...

I just kept saying, "one more row!" and then it was 12:45...oiy...

but what a great weekend!!!

we got into the VFW hall Friday night to decorate (only got blurry shots from that night, meant to send them to my mom - who, due to long distance, couldn't come to the party)

(we put up a few more decorations Saturday morning... after I locked myself out of the hall by not bringing the right key, and having to wait nearly 25 minutes for E to come with it...)

(and of course, all the great pictures of the cake, more decorations, people, etc are on my big Canon at home... which means I'll promise to post them later and they'll never get posted... but really, I do intend to take a look at them very soon.. this week... lol)

the only other pictures I could find from friend's phones/my phone:
(obviously the collage on the right is from a friend, so it's her son in the center lol)

yesterday was so hot... so so hot... we got out one of Button's new gifts (water table from MIL&FIL) and played on the front lawn for about 10 minutes, which is when Button even said, "too hot aiya! (outside)"
After nap time, we high-tailed it over to IL's house to lounge in their pool (and get dinner that I didn't have to cook!)

And a quick 17W update:

I've been feeling baby (kick! pop!) a bit more regularly - 2-3 "sessions" with a few pops per session each day! - the last week or two... I LOVE IT!!! According to Button's pregnancy, two more weeks-ish until they can be felt from the outside!

Weight gain definitely slowed down/stalled - I think I overdid it until last week, and am feeling much better with what/how much I'm eating

Next appointments are an OB check-up (only weight, urine, BP & doppler) in two weeks, and in another week after that - the A/S!!!! (oh and in between there somewhere is my 30th birthday... GAH)

but it'll be a 30th birthday spent probably shopping for .....

GENDER REVEAL!!!!!

Ok so - we went in Friday right after work, and made nice with the "tech" (obviously they're trained at ultrasounds, but instead of working at a clinic are working at an elective ultrasound place, hence the quotes around tech. lol I dunno...) and made our votes on the cute little board in the room:
(these votes were totally based on the prediction we got at 12w... hint hint)

We got to see baby (hi baby!) and hear a great hb (154-156bpm!)

and then came the Money Shot...

and boy, did SHE SHOW HER GOODS!!!!!

(I just realized, I plastered a picture of my daughter's VaJayJay on the internet... #worldsbestmother)

And so begins (ok honestly, continues) my P.interest obsession for all things Little Girl!!!! Time to make that board public!

a (late) 14-week bumpdate! (14w2d)

How Far Along: 14 weeks - SECOND TRIMESTER!!

Baby is the size of: a lemon

Best Moments This Week: There have been a few moments the last few days where there's flutters (not followed by any gas!) that I'm thinking are baby!!!

Total Weight Gain: At about 4 lbs gained so far... which at first scared me, I thought I was gaining quickly - but I'm on track with how I gained with Button (and considering I started 3-4 lbs lighter pre-pregnancy than with Button, not too bad!)

Maternity Clothes: So I'm actually back and forth on this one... I wore a regular pair of skinny jeans last week, with the zipper and button totally undone, rocking the hair-tie!  I also wore my maternity (full-paneled) turquoise skinny jeans last week, and they were amazing. lol

Symptoms: feeling kind of human again, regarding fatigue and empty stomach syndrome!

Sleep: I feel like I could always use more, but I've noticed the past week the nighttime pee sessions have ceased! uterus is moving on up!

Food Cravings: I think I've pinpointed an actual craving - but it's still not strong enough to run out the house at midnight - vanilla softserve (or fro-yo) with crumbled oreos.  LOTS of crumbled oreos - Baskin Robbins does NOT give you enough, and a mini-mcflurry barely does the job...

Anything making you queasy or sick:  Not really...

Movement: See "Best moments" - it's gonna come for sure any day now!

Stretch Marks: Just ones I had on my hips from highschool... lol

Gender Prediction: I have my prediction, the tech has hers as well - trying to keep it all mum as it's only a predicion!! =P

Labour Signs: Too early.

Belly Button In or Out?: In (never turned out last time either)

Wedding Rings on or off?: On

Happy or Moody?: so the horrendous mood swings have been getting better - until I walk into work this morning and feel roaring to go, ready to fight with anyone who even steps in my path! oiy...

Purchases for baby: still none yet... though I've started making the sweater!!!

Purchases for Momma: I got a whole bunch of used maternity sweaters & fall/winter shirts from ebay and Motherhoodcloset.com - an online consignment store for maternity-wear!!! (I also bought a second pair of jeans from OldNavy - the first (and only) pair I have are bootcut, so I got skinny - I ordered my regular pre-pregnancy size, and I'm not sure they'll fit this fall lol I might have to exchange for the next size up... oiy!)

Miss Anything?: I told a friend, I think it's harder to be pregnant (at the beginning of a pregnancy, vs at the end like with Button) during summer - I'd love a hard iced tea or frozen anything while sitting in the sun...

Looking forward to: finding out for sure if baby will be made of Snips&Snails or Sugar&Spice!! (found that phrase on a blog article, must find a way to use it when we announce the gender!!)

at 14w1d (and of course, at work)
((I only unbuttoned my jeans for the picture to show true bump, and not waist-band bump lol))

the Fun of Telling (& Stupid Questions)

(oh and also a "Weading" Wednesday)

First thing's first - Button wore his "I'm Going to be a Big Brother!" shirt to daycare yesterday...

Owner #1 didn't seem to notice it as I walked past her in the lobby, and owner #2 was actually walking out of Button's room and so had a full-frontal view, and she started squealing and screaming! (such a great reaction... I loved it!)

And then Owner #1 (actually owner #2's mother) came around the corner and Owner #2 was like, "DIDN'T YOU SEE [Button's] SHIRT?!"
And then there was more screaming and squealing and hugs - and even more squealing when we walked into Button's room and the first teacher saw (and read) his shirt...

and then someone finally remembered Button - he was about to cry! pouty-lip-face and all!

He must have gotten scared with all the screaming, so we had to stop and calm Button down and explain how everyone was just SO EXCITED!

poor guy - but it was such a great experience to have everyone get so excited!! (You'd think I was the first parent there to get pregnant again! lol)

((And another reason why I'm still putting off telling administrator at work - her reaction in comparison to that will be like a wet mop... ))

And then at work this morning - a nurse practitioner (who used to work here full-time, I haven't seen in awhile) came in with a patient question, and was all, "how's your little one? holy cow, almost two years old?!"

And when I started to laugh about how we "cut down" from the big 1st birthday party last year (50 adults) to this year (43 adults. 11 kids. HA) he laughed, and then blurted out, "You're not pregnant again, are you?"

Ummm..... so because there was someone else (a regular employee here) in the office, I felt I had no other option but to blurt out a No... (sorry gummi bear!! Mommy can't WAIT to keep spreading the news!!)
(I guess I'll give this guy the benefit of the doubt - men don't usually realize that there's a large span of time during a pregnancy where the woman MAY NOT WANT TO TELL PEOPLE YET!!!!)

And now a quick Reading Update (I devoured books for awhile after last update, and then got stuck on my current book for the last 4-5 days.... blugh)

And in addition to the 24 books read for the challenge, I've read three other books outside of the challenge (couldn't find a damn category to cram them in.)

(we left off on total Book Number 23: Gone with the Wind, for which the sequel will be downloaded and read for my happy ending! And it won't count towards my challenge. DAMMIT!)

24. Feels Like Home by Evelyn Adams     n/a for Challenge List   (finished 6/2/15)
Just a cute book I got for free (or cheap - less than a $dollar) during lunch one day at work (I love to read while at lunch... so if I don't have my current book/nook with me, I download another cheap/easy read! hence, so many books not on the challenge list!)

25. Sweet Valley High: #1 Double Love by Francine Pascal     #49/50: A book based on, or turned into a TV show    (finished 6/3/15)
This series became a TV show from 1994-1998 - basically my tween-into-teen years, and perfect reading for me then - a really light read I did in about 2 hours (when I was supposed to be working. SSH!)

26. Irish Thoroughbreds by Norah Roberts     #15/50: A popular author's first book    (finished 6/5/15)
Can you really get any more popular than Norah Roberts? (Longevity speaking here too... JK Rowling and Suzanne Collins and Stephanie Meyer aside...) This was just a light love-story, and you can actually tell it's her first novel... more poorly written then some of the free romances I get from B&N...

27. Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro     #7/50: A book with nonhuman characters     (finished 6/7/15)
So the non-human characters in this (somewhat spoiler alert, the narrator lets you in on this secret pretty much in the first chapter) are basically, well - 95% of the characters.  They are "copies" created based on real humans, and they are created solely for organ donation... *I didn't realize, until I started reading this book, that I had already seen the movie (starring Kiera Knightly, Carey Mulligan, and Andrew Garfield).  Good movie, great book!

28. Room by Emma Donaghue     #11/50: A book with a one word title     (finished 6/9/15)
Oh this book... a novel written from the POV of a 5-year-old little boy, born into captivity - his prison? a one-room shed, hidden from the public by a man who kidnapped his mother 6 years ago...
So incredible a book, I was so so so so excited to find out its movie is supposedly in post-production status!!!!! I can't wait for this to come out!!! Highly Recommended Read!!

29. Hollow City: The Second Novel of Miss Peregrin's Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs   #17/50: A book a friend recommended   (finished 6/10/15)
So this is more of a sequel to a book a friend originally recommended, but I decided it fit enough into this category... The first novel was pretty cool, and the second novel definitely met expectations (I in in fact, and for once, let lots of time pass between reading the first book and reading the sequel, but I did pretty well throughout the first chapter or so, to go, "oh yea! oh YEA! Now I remember what happened (mostly) in the first book!"

And I am currently days into reading Harper Lee's To Kill a Mockingbird and it's dragging only because I'm deciding at night to crochet a cowl instead of read...

Getting ready for NT scan.. (12w) UPDATED (12w5d??)

Today's NT scan is at 3:15 (ET)

I still haven't told work, so I'm pulling a "daycare called, gotta go get Button" around 2:45...

I was mentally preparing this morning to tell my administrator along with a, "BTW I have to leave early today for the big appointment" but my PGAL brain has me chickening out...

PGAL brain also has my stomach slightly churning with nerves because - I had wanted to use the doppler this morning (or even last night) so I could walk into the MFM office with at least a little confidence (as opposed to extreme terror) but I didn't get a chance to...
(also why I chickened out of telling administrator today... I need to either have this appointment or have used the doppler more recently to feel comfortable...)
(Friday was the last time I used the doppler... I calculated FHR at about 155...)

Oh another reason why I'm reluctant to tell administrator (everyone else at work I'm excited to tell) is because on Friday, a coworker brought her 10-day old granddaughter (OMG SQUEEEE I HELD HER, I couldn't stop saying how tiny she was!! and how I did NOT remember babies being this tiny!!)

And upon being asked if she wanted to see her or hold her, administrator literally uttered the words "I don't do babies..."
and she walked out of the office.  (a little background, so you don't think I'm being a horrible person, she might have had losses, etc - she's in her early 60's - divorced x3 and only does pets...)

So pardon me if I expect a less-than-excited reaction, or more specifically a first reaction of, "so how long of a leave are you going to take?!"

Anyways  - NT scan.

In a little over three hours...

send good vibes!!

Update:
Nuchal went AWESOME (of course,  E got there late, in fact after they called me back and had started.. (they couldn't wait, they said, very short-staffed))

And after all that drama of measuring 4 days behind early on,  I'm now measuring 5 days ahead!!! So I'm going to have to ask my OB if they'll be adjusting the EDD, since they'll most likely need to schedule a RCS at what's truly 39 weeks..

Heart rate was 176, Nuchal measured 1.5-1.7... we even got a 3D/4D peek!!

Aaaaaand the tech gave us a gender prediction, which she said she rarely does.. let's see if I can keep it a secret on here until confirmed.. (we already spilled the probable-gender to all our family! Lol)

mish-mash Monday... (9w1d)

Even though it's Tuesday... (HA! go pregnancy brain...)

what a way to return to work from a vacation, right?

Week1 - three days (Wed, Thurs, Fri)

A nice three-day weekend, followed by another short work-week (Tues-Fri)

E caught "Montezuma's Revenge" (or so he says, from Mexico... I blame the fish and pork he ate at the buffets - I was having none of that! And didn't get sick!)  and so our plans of a weekend DownTheShore were kaboshed...

Instead, Saturday morning (after a failed doppler attempt #1... was mentally ok, figured it was an empty bladder, that I'd try again later...) I went shopping! With gift cards, no less!
Gift cards that I found in the house 6 months ago - from clothes E had gotten as gifts (over a year ago!) and had returned for store credit... he didn't even know/forgot the gift cards even existed!

So off to Hollister and American Eagle I went (And Bath&BodyWorks - gift card for Mother's Day from SIL)... I treated Button (and myself) to fro-yo on our way out of the mall, since he was such a good shopping partner!

Sunday morning, E felt he could brave the drive DTS, and off we went - where he then chilled in the backyard (close to a toilet) while the gals (MIL, her sister, SIL, and younger adopted SILs) and I went to the bay with Button... we all joined up for a trip later to the boardwalk for some rides and dinner (season's first crab legs! YUMMMMMMM!)

A late night drive (it would have been utter chaos squeezing into a 3-bedroom house already sleeping 7 adults and a dog...) got us home around 11:30.

Monday I had plans to get together with my bestie, Dee - I still hadn't told her in person about the pregnancy and was so excited to tell her! After the first 30-40 minutes at the park with our boys (hers is almost 11 months) I finally said, "there's been no cute good segue presented, so I'll just tell you - Button's going to be a big brother!"
She was so thrilled! And told me she had a dream a week ago that I was like, 8 months pregnant and telling her it was a girl!!!

SQUEEEE!!

And then when Button and I got home, E was out food shopping, so I figured I'd try the doppler again (I guess I feel less pressure when E's not there...) and 10 minutes in with no luck (I refused to give up...) I started to panic, and wondered if the OB office would be open on Memorial Day for an ultrasound... when, THERE IT WAS!

I found the sweet little heartbeat, and got a great long video (I showed E later... I think he wants to listen to it in person, I'll see if we can try together again next time... lol)

We then blew up Button's pool, and sat in the sun, grilling burgers for just the three of us, and had a fabulous Memorial Day...

And now, because E and others have asked, and I, myself, am curious - a to-date comparison of Button's hb and Little Bear's hb (for shits and giggles...)
So, obviously, no clear Boy/Girl indicator yet!

I shouldn't have... (8w4d)

...but I totally did...

I got the doppler out last night, while E was mowing the lawn.  And I totally figured, ok - so if I can't find hb, no big deal - I'll call the OB office and take them up on the "offer" (my earlier demand) of another u/s before 12weeks...

If I find it?

Great! No need to pester them for an u/s!

I FOUND THE HEARTBEAT!!!!!!

It took just a few minutes' searching - and it came through, steady and fast... (the doppler never registered the bpm, I'm gonna geustimate 150-160ish... so definitely baby's hb!)

Now I need to try and refrain from daily use... we're going DownTheShore tonight so that should take care of the temptation until we get back Saturday night!

And I finally have a get-together scheduled with my bestie, Dee, on Monday - I've been waiting to tell her in person and am so excited!!

Happy Friday!!

to "Tide" you over!

get it?

Like an ocean tide?!

Sorry, I'm still loopy on vacation...

and EXHAUSTED.  I'm more tired being back to work than when we were in Cancun.

Which makes total sense: all we did each and every day there was buffet breakfast, hang by the pool, maybe hang by the kids' pool area, get buffet lunch, nap, and when the sun was weak enough - played on the ocean until we showered and went for dinner.

And then we all went to sleep.

Between 9 and 9:30.

IT WAS AMAZING....

and because most of the pictures are on the big camera at home (and because I've had no energy to do anything once home from work but nap on the couch, watch E feed Button dinner, and then pull myself together to put him to bed - which means a dishwasher needs to be emptied, the kitchen is atrocious, and none of our vacation laundry has even made it out of the suitcases...) - here are a few pics to Tide you over!

that's the view from our huuuuuuuge windows in our room... I mean - we were a corner room! two walls of windows!

Do you think he's enjoying himself?! =P

He hasn't stopped talking about the "yeh-yo boat" he went on! And he crashed so hard each day for his nap...

They had these awesome "Pirate ship" cruises (we didn't go on any) but got to watch them leave harbor every night!
And the peacocks! we couldn't pass this glass partition in a certain hallway without saying, "hello birdies" and "bye bye birdies!"

An incredible time, so relaxing... And I didn't get much of a tan (boo!) because we put on too much sunblock so the last day has us frantically taking turns during Button's nap to squeeze in a few more hours of sun (sans sunblock!) by the pool...

button was so great on the flights (there - 2 because we layover-ed in Orlando - and back - direct, thankfully! and the flight was totally not full, so he got his own seat!)

And I had to take 8w "bloat" shots - I felt so huge in my swimsuits, and then looked back at these pictures and totally laughed... because I didn't really look that different... lol
(ok this picture does look pretty bloated, probably because of my hand on my upper stomach. lol)

Anyways - more pics to come!!

and an update on the 2015 Reading Challenge!!

Sighs of Relief... ( 7w1d ! )

This morning was an u/s at the MFM office (due to scheduling issues at my OB's office - they wouldn't have been able to get me in before we leave for Cancun - IN TWO DAYS!)

She did an abdominal wand first (SO much better than transV) but followed up with a transV wand later... (yuck yuck yuck - she graphically wrapped an actual condom on the wand, and then GLOBBED lube on the tip, which proceeded to liberally drip down in clumps... YUCK)

I nearly held my breath, watched the small 12" screen far away on the wall, while E watched the one over my shoulder the tech was looking at... at one point, he grinned and nodded his head and I thought,  oh thank god and assumed he'd seen the heartbeat (he had). and I said, "you're nodding! That's good!!!"

Of course, the tech immediately and solemnly goes, "hold on guys just give me a minute..."

PLEASE DON'T EVER SAY THAT TO ME AGAIN! IN THAT TONE!

Thankfully, a minute later she zoomed in on Little Bear (more on that in a second) and said, "ok don't move, don't speak - we're going to listen to the heartbeat!"

Don't worry honey! I hadn't taken a breath the whole time yet!

A solid, strong and steady 154bpm and a little gummi bear (Little Bear!) measuring RIGHT ON TRACK at 7w1d...

From 6w1d last Friday!!!

(so yes, an exclamation mark on the dates in the post title!)

I immediately grabbed E's had in happiness as I nearly cried with relief, a big grin from ear to ear...

now for Cancun packing tonight!!!

Thankful for What It Is

So...
That ticker over on the left, the countdown for the first ultrasound, should read 0...

Our appointment was this morning, and it was good... and it was bad (in my mind, at least)

The good part?
We saw a teeny tiny little flickering heart... YAY YAY YAY!!
(or more accurately, "cardiac tube" and "cardiac activity.")

Then I saw her place her little crosshairs on the crown, and one on the rump - and I measured 6w1d... when I should have been 6w5d by my O-date count.

Which isn't horrible... just the other day, I was trying to reassure someone on forums that, at this gestation - things are measured SO MICROSCOPICALLY that a 1/2 mm  could mean the difference of a few days...
(also - I was thinking, based on when I turned the very first test truly positive (10DPO) and how long it took until the lines got really nice and dark - theoretically the betas doubling and increasing - I was thinking I've got a "late implanter" on my hands... which, even though they measure gestation by date of conception, wouldn't a late implanter be a few days behind?!)

The doctor wants me to come back next week to confirm good growth.
YES, I love that I get another ultrasound so soon, it just surprised me that she wanted it - I feel like in the past, the office had the "can't change the outcome" mindset and would have just scheduled the 12w NT...

So maybe it's her reaction that has me slightly off-kilter... (btw - new OB at the practice, and despite what it may sound like, I LOVE HER)

When she heard we were traveling to Cancun next week, she DEFINITELY wanted to get an ultrasound in before our vacation, to make sure everything was still ok.  And even said that she would provide a letter that said it was medically advised I not travel, if we wanted to get out of the trip...

which, hell no - I AM SO READY FOR A VACATION and SO READY to be out of reach of my job via telephone...
and also - if the plane travel is totally safe (as she told me it was) then there's no reason for me NOT to go to Cancun... except, in her words:

"if you miscarry in Mexico, you're in Mexico... and are not familiar with their medical facilities - if you need a D&C, etc."   **
(** how awful, right?  a PGALer can't help but think ahead about things like possibly miscarrying... and whether facilities would be available in case of medical procedures needed.)

So, yea - she's blunt... but I've realized I like that about her... while all the other staff - receptionist, lab tech for blood, nurse at intake, ultrasound tech - were all, "congrats! So exciting, a baby!" the doctor didn't shy away from the fact that bad things can (and do! I've experienced them!) happen...
And I'm realizing as I write this, I'm being thrown off by the fact that I feel like she's acting as an RE's office would, with plenty of visits and reassurances in the early scary weeks...

My OB/GYN office changed names (and I think affiliations slightly - mostly same doctors and nurses) and if this is their new policy, I LOVE IT.

And even better - when I asked if I could squeeze in another peace-of-mind ultrasound around 9ish weeks, she told me it would be absolutely no problem...

so while I'm bummed about still being stuck in the sweet-pea stage for awhile and having the big 7w blueberry be pushed off a few days, there is a tiny precious heartbeat... cardiac activity... whatever!

(I'll probably keep the same Sunday ticker-change until next week's ultrasound can confirm stuff... because also? 6w1d today would make the due date NEW YEAR'S EVE... of course.)

A Milestone (of dreams) and Makin' Things this Monday (6w1d)

So end of last week, I had my first bleeding dream (I sat in the bathroom Friday morning and noted in the blogger app so I wouldn't forget to post about it - good thing I did too! I just now saw the draft and was like, OH YEAAA!!!!)

So in the dream, I guess I was a little ho bag, sleeping with like 4 guys and realized I was around CD15 (FW!)
Cue the dream freak-out...
But then I got my period/started bleeding and I was like,  whew! ... wait...

Wasn't I already pregnant???

and this baby-making business is still exhausting... Friday night I fell asleep while putting Button to bed... I laid him in the crib, and I curled up, cramped on the glider (he would whine when I stepped out of the room... *sigh* it's something he pulls like, once every few weeks...) and he's laying in his crib kicking his monkey toy that's attached to the bars...
I didn't realize 45 minutes had passed (and Button still wasn't sleeping!) until I stirred and checked the clock!

Oh and more crazy dreams: I was, I think, going to some large indoor rodeo (I think it was AT my parents' church?!)

It morphed (like dreams do) into a circus, and all of a sudden I'm like, doing trapeze from the audience, swinging around on some rope.  There were 1-2 "mean girls" I recognized from high school, complete with frosty pink, nearly lilac, lipstick and chokers - awesome 90's gear!

Something like the "ring master" invites me to join the circus...

The same night, in another dream, I'm watching TV from a couch, and my sister and an hasidic Jewish woman (it was a speech therapist from my actual job!) are on a nearby couch, I think flirting!

All that to say - when I fall asleep (usually on the couch around 9:30) I get some crazy wack-a-doo dreams...

A quick Monday of Making Things: this thing being a craft/crayon/marker box for Button... (started as a Converse box with some leftover paper from the crazy Circus Birthday Bash planning last year)

I taped (meticulously) four pieces of patterned paper together, and then (painstakingly!) traced out a design of fold- and cut-lines...

I taped (on the inside, and again on the seams) everything down (lazy woman's hot glue...) and with a few trimmings here and there, my pattern worked!!

I think it came out pretty cute, and I'm excited to put it in his desk!
(considering this was on my to-do list and sitting on the guest bedroom for a number of months, it maybe be a few more days/weeks until it actually gets moved to his desk in the playroom... lol)

Good doesn't always win... (4w4d)

But when it (good) does win?

Rainbows and butterflies...

no, not really - but it IS nice when the good outweighs the bad...

Yesterday I took the day off of work to drive up to CT, a halfway point for myself (NJ) and my sister (MA)...

My parents are visiting her and her family this week from Texas, and no way would I let them be this close without going to see them! (And having them see Button! It's been since Christmas!)

So we all settled into a chain restauraunt (after a mad dash for us ALL to the bathroom after a 2ish hour carride - during which Button slept for the last hour - score!)

And as I knew would happen, the second we get all settled, the waiter comes around and asks for drink orders, and I watch my mom and sister out of the corner of my eye as I fumble with ordering a Mango iced-tea (I.E. NO ALCOHOL!)  ((I might as well have held up a neon scrolling sign for them...))

Except it WASN'T so obvious to the waiter, who kept trying to convince me of the fabulous-ness of their Sauza tequila margaritas and how $3.39 was SUCH A GREAT DEAL!
(random pic, again so pics in blog readers aren't pee sticks (below)...)

They all got excited (my dad a minute later when he also caught on) and I caveat-ed with a "it's still REAAALY EARLY, I haven't even seen the doctor yet..."

And then, I had to ask my mom about this bet she'd mentioned a few months ago...

Something like she and my dad had bets on who would be KTFU again first - me or SIL (the crazy one who scrapes her daughter's poop out of her diaper before throwing it away? yea that one...)

And I only brought it up to my mom because I had this weird feeling about them (BIL+SIL) and I asked - not in the "DID I WIN THE BET?!" way...

And my mom kinda sat there and looked at my dad and half smirked / half looked like she didn't know what to say...

IN OTHER WORDS, THEY'RE TOTALLY PREGNANT TOO!    (Good News!)

Aw, yay! how cute!!! We'll be pregnant together in July this summer during the family reunion!!

UNLESS.... something happens....
(out squeaked my PGAL brain)  (Bad News!)

(OHGOD OHGOD OHGOD PLEASE don't let anything happen to this pregnancy, because if it does - I don't think I can live through SIL's this summer...)  ((remember, if it's said as an aside, in parentheses, the universe doesn't hear you!))

I just really hope and pray that both of our pregnancies continue in a healthy manor... OHPLEASE OHPLEASE...

And our first appointment is set (did it during the carride yesterday! go blue tooth!) for Friday May 8th... u/s at 9am and dr appt to follow...
15 MORE DAYS!     (Good News!)

And I can check off the first two (and only items) off this little checklist I decided was important last pregnancy:

  • Keep POAS - CHECK (I even used the 2nd CB weekly digi - which has progressed to 2-3w past ovulation / 4-5w pregnant WHEW)
(LOOK at that 18dpo wondfo! of course, it was still "wet" as the others have dried for days now...)        (Good News!)
  • Call Dr (that old list said "ask when is the soonest they can do an u/s (even if you can't see baby/sac/fetalpole yet) to make sure it's not ectopic."     Well,I feel ok with the first appointment being 2 weeks from tomorrow... ACK! TWO WEEKS!

(I feel like my life has been lived in 2WWs the past 2 years... 2WWs during TTC, a 2ww for first u/s, another 2ww for the second u/s, a 2ww at the end of the pregnany for a scheduled (but not really - SURPRISE!) c-section...)

the PGAL-ness... 15DPO

A few weeks ago, I thought gleefully, "oh gosh! at the rate time passes now, the first few scary weeks/months of a pregnancy should fly compared to last time without a toddler for distraction!"

eh.....

I guess it somewhat has so far - considering I tested so freaking early (both good - I got to know sooner! and bad - that much longer to wait for 4w, 5w, first u/s...)
I tested at 3w2d (if you count that "IS THAT A SHADOW?!" on 9DPO) and here we are 4w1d..

I am actually not too freaking out right now PGAL-wise... I'm (of COURSE) still peeing on things... and panicked this morning a bit as I peered through the shower doors (5 minutes was up!) at the Wondfo and thought, OHMIGOD it's not that different at all than yesterday!! DAAAAAAAMMIT!

And then I started to rationalize:
- the FRER at 13DPO looked OH SO MUCH DARKER than the one just the day before... like, HELL YEA check out that second line!

- I played Guestimate the Beta, Mate!(of course with the help of this handy site which tells me that
"Beta hCG levels usually double about every 2 days for the first four weeks of pregnancy."

So considering how early I DID* test, I figure it was, oh - 5-7miu (or is that mui?!) on Wednesday ((if you count that shadow on 9DPO "turning into" a BFP on 10DPO, that would make sense, right?))
and then on Friday it should theoretically have been around 10-14mIU... and by Sunday should have been, oh, approximately 20-28mIU.
As I finished the math (and soaping up my hair in the shower) I thought, no wonder the Wondfo is still light!!!

And then I got out of the shower and looked at it closer, and fist pumped... OH BABY it's darker than yesterday's!

And another thing about being PGAL, so succinctly put on a Pregnant Chicken post I recently read:

"Seeing other women pregnant will still cause you to rage with jealousy. There I said it."

Yup - we were at a 3rd birthday party on Saturday (which was so annoying - upwards of 50 people there, the mom wouldn't serve cookies/cake and sing HappyBirthday until her 3-yr-old had opened all of his gifts... in front of everyone.  I'm sorry, is this a fucking baby shower or something?! THIRD BIRTHDAY!!) and at this party there was a 3-day old baby and two pregnant women 6+ months...

I wouldn't say I raged with jealousy... but I would be lying if I didn't feel the faint twinges as I rubbed their bellies...

And because it's near impossible to find a private area where I work to call my OB/GYN (I mean, consider the conversation: "Hi I'm calling because I got a POSITIVE PREGNANCY TEST a few days ago, when can I schedule the first ULTRASOUND?")  I'll hopefully be able to leave work right before 5pm and try to call and schedule an appointment... and maybe betas... because I can't make up my mind on that...

And because I want to show you how crazy I was at 9/10DPO - pee stick pictures to follow after this random one - because I don't want anyone's feeds to pop up with a pee-stick picture and the first picture of a post is always the one that pops up... how about some puppies??

And now for pee sticks, the wondfos' progression through today...

(I promise lines are much darker in person...
I realized this pic makes it look like I didn't get a true BFP until like, yesterday... lol)

(I've just started my own PGAL panic... I'll be examining these again as soon as I get home from work... SIGH)

The only thing that's somewhat sanity-saving, are these beauts:

now THAT is line progression... (you'll notice I refrained from using my last FRER on 14 & 15DPO... I might just use that last one tomorrow...)

AAAAND I have a CBdigi that does that nifty little week indicator, and should in theory (in the next few days) change from it's previous reading of "1-2 weeks" (past ovulation, so 3-4weeks pregnant) to a nice "3-4 weeks" (4-5 weeks pregnant)....

the craziness continues...
