the Beguiling Benjamin Button

Things Button says:

(being an (inactive) firefighter, Daddy keeps all our alarms (smoke and CO) battery'd and running well, and the CO detector BEEEEEPS when Button pushes the battery-testing-button, which used ot scare him...)
Daddy: "Button, what do we do if the smoke alarm goes off in our house?"
Button: "I CRY!"

"when mommy drive on the road, she says come on lady!. Also she says come on dude. Also she says that..."
2 1/2 years old

(after wiping a boogie into a tissue)
"the garbage man is going to come and pick up my boogie.  Yea, and then he looks at my boogie and takes it.."
2 1/2 years old

(when a daycare provider joked, "Can I take your baby sister home with me??")
"No, she's mine - go have your own!"
2 1/2 years old

(he started playing in the toilet water at daycare (((I KNOW!!))) and told E he put his hand in the toilet.) When E told him that was bad:
"I didn't put my hand in this toilet or the one downstairs. I did it at preschool... and not now, I did it last week..."
 2 1/2 years old

(on the way to daycare one morning)
"We left Pootie at home!!!" (his Pooh-ball toy) "We have to turn around and go get him!"
2 1/2 years old

(one night after bedtime to his Pooh)
"Pootie, you drive... ME.... CRAY... ZEE!"
 almost 3 years old

E: "ooh Ben were forgetting something you need for your hands for ice skating. What is it?"

     "Hand SANITIZER!!!!!!"

two days before 3 years old

     "I pledge allegence - to da flag of the 'Nited State of the 'Merica...
     and to the ra-plublic, for which is stands:
    one nation, under god - indivisible (yes we nail that word!) with luberty and justice for all.
     Ay-men."

Cause I just can't get enough of this Button...
